Dematerialization of requests for intra-EU Phytosanitary Communication Document on MyGuichet: Go Live on September 1st, 2017

The Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture and Consumer Protection informs all economic operators that the online administrative procedure regarding the transport of plants and plant products within the European Union in order to export them to third countries is available on MyGuichet.

Please note that the professional space must be certified by the Administration of agricultural technical services (Administration des Services Techniques de l'Agriculture) to access the request for the intra-EU Phytosanitary Communication Document. May 2017: Requests for health or free sale certificates to export foodstuffs of non-animal origin or food contact materials available on MyGuichet

The Food Safety Unit of the National Health Directorate informs all economic operators that the online administrative procedure regarding health and free sale certificates to export foodstuffs of non-animal origin or food contact materials is available on MyGuichet.

Please note that the professional space must be certified by the Food Safety Unit (Division de la sécurité alimentaire) to access the request for both export certificates. You can find more information in the MyGuichet user guide and in the short presentation guide (FR, DE or EN).

A transition phase during which email requests are still going to be accepted is scheduled until the end of August 2017. Please do remember that from September 1st 2017 on, the Food Safety Unit will accept only MyGuichet electronic forms.

January 2017: e-Forms to request phytosanitary certificates, CITES permits and health certificate for food available online on MyGuichet

The e-form request for phytosanitary certificates is online since November 2016:

The e-form request for CITES permits to import and export protected species of wild flora and fauna is online since January 2017:

The e-form request for health certificates to export food of animal origin is online since January 2017:

These new paperless procedures enable Economic Operators to lodge their requests online to obtain certificates for exporting or re-exporting plants, plant products and wood, importing or exporting protected species of the flora and fauna or exporting food of animal origin.

Economic Operators fill out their requests online, attach the required documents and submit their requests. The appropriate Government Agency reviews the certificate requests and sends back their approval (or refusal) electronically and generates the certificate.

Dematerialization of requests for health certificates, phytosanitary certificates and CITES permits: information session attended by 40 participants on November 17th, 2016

The Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture and Consumer Protection invited economic operators to an information session on November 17th, 2016 at 14:00 about online administrative procedures regarding:

  • Phytosanitary export certificates
  • Health export certificates for food of animal origin
  • CITES permits for the import/export of protected species

This information session has first updated the participants on the new certificate request procedures and has then focused on regulation and request procedures for CITES permits for endangered species. It took place at Chamber of Commerce. It was organized by the Administration of Agricultural Technical Services and the Administration of Veterinary Services in collaboration with the Cluster for Logistics.
