Division for Curative Care

The Division for Curative Care and Healthcare Quality is part of the National Health Directorate, that functions under the authority of the Ministry of Health.

The Division for Curative Care and Healthcare Quality is in charge of all questions related to:

  • the planning, organization, evaluation of the performance and monitoring of hospitals and primary care establishments
  • monitoring of non-monetary resources and health care equipment
  • as well as the exercise of medical and other health professions.

It is also in charge of all questions related to the evaluation, promotion and national quality coordination in the area of health, including health care risk prevention and the quality control of biomedical laboratories.

Responsibilities

In the context of international trade, the Division for Curative Care and Healthcare Quality is responsible for monitoring the medical devices market.
